Oh, my happy plate!

I must admit, many of the food I post are on this white, ceramic round plate with blue and black print on the side. The print is a face of a boy excitedly looking at what is served on the plate. I honestly do not have a lot of “fancy” plating dishes to use. Among the very few I have, this one is actually my favorite!

I got this plate several years ago in exchange for the stickers I collected from shopping for certain products at a particular supermarket. It was kind of a prize, a reward so to speak. Nonetheless, I must say, it was all worth it. This plate came with a pair, which was a soup bowl. Sadly, that bowl accidentally broke a long time ago. The set was actually meant for my child to use as he graduated from using his toddler feeding set.

Just like what I wrote in my profile, “I am a mom to a young boy who loves to eat and whose smile gives me pure joy every time he is served a meal.” And frequently presenting my creations on this plate only proves that this is my favorite. Why so? Because it has the face that says it all!

Dessert or savory dish, simple or elaborate, any food becomes special when served on my happy plate.
