As days went by, I became more intentional in what I cook and how I serve. While taste has never been an issue to my family, the hubby said I need to work on the aesthetics part if I want to expand the reach of my kitchen in the future.
On Mother’s Day, my boys surprised me with a wooden serving board with my name carved on it. That’s what gave my kitchen a name! The first to be served on it was a cup of freshly brewed coffee paired with a slice of burnt Basque cheesecake I baked the day before.
I’m sharing here also some of my highlight dishes for the month of May.

While serving others is always a delight, a gift unexpectedly received surely warms the heart. 😀
